Congrats to the Cousino Couple!

On May 23, 2009 our friends Mike and Katie were married in Ohio. What a fun trip we had especially catching up with the Sturgis gang. Thanks Cousinos for a lovely evening!

Mike and Katie met at college at Miami of Ohio. Her dad surprised them with this ice sculpture.

The newlyweds were a dashing couple!

No better time to take an updated photo of the Sturgis folks!
(the Kolzows, the Hudsons, my man and I, the Carvers and Joe and his soon to be bride Jenne)

...and not to forget the Gutgsells!

The reception took place outdoors on a gorgeous estate with fountains, flowers and greenry galore and a beautiful dressed tent.

Although Andy and I missed our babe, we enjoyed our adventure together to Ohio with our friends.

First dance for the Cousinos.

Now there's trouble...the groom and his best man!

Also, congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Mark Roberts and their baby on the way!

On the road again...we made a pit stop on our way home for some grub at Big Boy. Our big boys Ben and Andy couldn't resist the photo opportunity!

Thanks again Katie and Mike for a wonderful weekend in your neck of the woods!

Alex the green thumb

Boy is Alex the helper these days! Not only did he help pick out the veggie garden, he helped Nana plant the flowers that she got mom for Mother's Day. On second thought, maybe he just likes dirt...

Tomato plant, bell pepper plant, zucchini plant, cucumber plant, cantaloupe plant, watermelon plant, alex plant...like I said, Alex enjoyed picking out the veggie garden.

Alex must have a green thumb, these geraniums are now blooming. They were planted by Nana and Alex shortly after Mother's Day.

Someone liked the garden shovel! Thanks nana and pop for the house warming gift!

As mentioned before, Alex loves to help around the house, especially with watering the plants and flowers even though half the time he ends up watering himself!

Don't look Bridgett...it's a caterpillar! Alex is a lot more brave then his aunt bridge and mama as he holds a tiny caterpillar. What fun he has had at the new house with all the wildlife...bunnies, baby bird nests, ducks, frogs, caterpillars...
