Sweet Baby Tess

What fun it has been getting to know our little lady. We have been very blessed (again) with our sweet baby girl. So far Tess is very laid back. She likes to sleep, eat and poop. What more could we ask for?? She has changed a lot in the few days she has been with us...

Brotherly Love

As I mentioned, Alex has taken a liking to his new baby sister (if only it will last).

Alex has enjoyed giving Tess many many kisses.

I have to document this now...Alex has said multiple times "I like my baby." So sweet!

He even doesn't mind sharing his bed with her during storybook time with dad.

We are very proud of Alex the big brother!

Tessa Lou Dampeer

Our little lady has finally arrived after a tough 9 months for mom. Tess was born on September 23, 2010, five days early. She weighed 7 pounds, 3 oz (same as daddy when he was born) and was 19 inches long.

She's a brunette...so far. She was born with her daddy's hair!

This photo is very sweet...that is big brother Alex's hand reaching out to his very newborn sister.

Speaking of the big brother, he is very fond of his new sis.

The Dampeer Family minus Sophee of course :)

Tess had a few special people waiting to meet her...

Three years old!!

Quick update...Alex is three years old!! Weighing in at 28 pounds and 3 feet tall, he is a growing machine!

He is loving school and amazing his ma and pa daily with his new developments and vocab. What a fun age!

Mom has 4 weeks to go until Alex's baby sister is due...not sure if she will make it that long with that torpedo on her belly!
Hopefully mom will feel better once the babe is born so she can start her habitual blogging again!
