Fun fotos :)

I had to share these photos of Alex at his best!

Dressed like his Uncle Kyle in his very own track suit (thanks to Ben and Wendy Hudson!!).

His newest attire: tupperware. I guess he wanted to take a break from Nana's hats.

Hanging on for dear life on the carousel with Aunt Aimee.

Peek-a-boo, we see Alex! One of his favorite games besides pillow diving and stair climbing (and descending I must add, he has learned how to use stairs all by himself thanks to his Grandma Arklie and Nana).

Is that a Sports Illustrated already?

Alex-o-lantern

Alex wasn't too sure about the whole pumpkin carving thing.

At first he wanted to touch it:

Then it was gross:

Then he wanted to eat it:

Then he wanted to cover Nana's kitchen with the pumpkin guts!

Finally, he decided to carve them into Alex-o-lanterns (with a little help of course).

Off to the pumpkin patch...

Not only did Alex get to pick out a pumpkin this year, but he got to feed the goats at the pumpkin patch. Unfortunately, the snow the night before ruined the corn putting a damper on our corn maze fun.

Yes, that is a goat wanting to eat us, I mean wanting us to feed it.

Alex (really mom) wasn't so sure about the goats...

Alex was a good boy letting them eat out of his hand.

I picked the pun'kin in the wagon...

...even though there were lots of pumpkins to choose from!

Boo...to packing!

...says Alex, and he is completely right!

Our house is officially SOLD! I guess that is great news, but sad to see our home go. Alex on the other hand, enjoyed helping mom and dad pack over the weekend!

He is a climber...good thing Aunt Aimee was there to be his spotter!

What game?

On 10/18, Andy and I joined our buddies for a Michigan State massacre in East Lansing! Ohio State beat the crude out of MSU...however, we had lots of fun with our friends!

First (overdue) Haircut!

For Alex's first haircut on 10/13/08, we splurged at GREAT CLIPS...haha!

Alex had his very own baby mullet!

What a GOOD boy he was!

No crying, no kicking, no screaming...no expression whatsoever!

New and improved and very clean cut!

Alex the adult:

Alex has many adult behaviors:

Grocery shopping

Laundry

Driving

Napping

Bathing (thank goodness)

Girls Night Out!

Just like the good old days of Sturgis High, the girls got together for a long overdue girls night out (10/11/08).
From left, me, Heather Baran, Jenny Rupp, Jamie Webster, Elizabeth Smith, Laurie Lawson, Melissa Miller-Gutgsell, and Liz Seurynck.

Our get-together was a perfect time to celebrate Liz's upcoming marriage to Jim O'Kane.

The night started with a tasty dinner at the Chubby Trout in Elkhart, IN, then on to Jenny's house for lots of chatting and a smore filled bonfire.

We had a blast (at least I did), and were very thankful Liz was able to make the trek from Alabama, Laurie from Massachusetts, and Jamie from Missouri!

First tooth = first popsicle

There it is, Alex's first tooth that he has been working on for over a month.

His cold treat was very delicious,

and eaten in record time.

Animals Galore!

Alex enjoyed his first trip to the zoo with Grandma and Grandpa Arklie, and Aunt Aimee!

Our little pum'kin!

Who needs the animals when there is a playground!

Journey to the Lake...

While Aunt Claire and Uncle Mike were in town for the weekend, the whole Dampeer clan decided to visit Lake Michigan (10/5/08).

Alex found sand...

...and he couldn't get enough of it!
