The Holidays brought more fun for the Dampeer Family. A few of Mom's friends from college got together for some food and fun!
Alex got to see his buddy Jackson Reiter...they are only five days apart. 
All the way from Connecitcut, Chris Weaver and her hubby...
Kyle Weaver finally got to meet Alex (and Jackson!)
Alex also got to see Jackson's big brother Drew.

Mom, Dad, baby boy, and pup again jumped in the car (12/29) and headed down to Sturgis to celebrate with Gpa and Gma Dampeer and Great Grammy. And again, Alex was spoiled rotten! He had a super first Christmas especially since he was able to spend time with family.

Mom ran out of memory on her camera...but lucky little Alex got a brand new Sleigh from Gpa and Gpa Dampeer. Oh how Rudolph Sophee would love to take Alex for his first ride...
Mom, Dad, baby boy, and pup headed down to Sturgis to spend Christmas Eve with Grandpa and Grandma Arklie and Aunt Aimee. Gpa and Gma Dampeer were in Houma, Louisana visiting Gpa Dampeer's folks, Aunt Claire and Uncle Mike.
Alex was spoiled rotten...
Grandpa and Grandma surprised him with a exer-saucer!
Aunt Aimee got him his very own johnee jump-up!
Even Santa found him in Sturgis...must have been a good boy...
...with a stocking full of goodies including a cuddly puppy dog.
Alex sure couldn't take his eyes off his new talking and blinking ball.
Woohoo! Alex has made a full circle in his tummy time lazy susan! 
He likes to play with the toys as he goes around.

It won't be much longer until Alex has to unfortunately attend daycare...until then (1/2/08) he has had his fair share of TLC from his grandmas, grandpas, and aunties!
Gma D or as she referred to herself, the Granny Nanny...watched Alex the week after daddy.

...and Aunt Aimee split the next week. 
Next up is Grandma A who will stay the rest of the week after Christmas. 
Then Alex is off to Daycare...he won't be too far from mom...thank goodness!
After their visit with mom, the boys headed out to Gull Lake to meet the newest members of the Martin Clan. Daddy's first cousins Sarah "Martin" Kennedy and Bridget "Martin" Hein recently had sweet babies boys...

As mentioned earlier, mom was back to work on Dec. 3 (boowho)! During her first week back, daddy stayed home to watch the little guy. What fun the boys had!
Luckily Alex is still guzzling down his goods from bottles when mom isn't around. He graduated to the next size of bottle top just after he turned 3 months old.

Good news for Jenny and Rick Rupp...they just found out they are excepting a GIRL! The lucky little lady is due in May!

The Dampeer Family of four loaded themselves up in their SUV and headed off to pick out Alex's first Christmas Tree. Boy was it a chilly day but nonetheless they were on a mission to find the perfect tree.
Why go to the farm when the farm comes to BIG K!!!
