A visit to the golden dome.

The Reiter Family visited us in South Bend this past weekend (9/28/08). We had fun visiting the Notre Dame campus!

Of course, we had to check out the bookstore!

Alex tried to get in the Irish spirit!

Jackson and Alex were happy to see each other again, that or Alex wanted Jackson's milk! They are only 5 days apart, what fun it is to see them grow up together.

Can't be on campus without a photo with the Golden Dome...

...or feed the ducks!

Riding around in my automobile!

Alex has been looking forward, literally to his latest accomplishment! Alex is officially a big boy in a big car seat (9/27/08).
He even acts like a big boy in it...

Lounging around...

...watching State beat ND.

GO STATE!! GO SPARTANS!! GO GREEN AND WHITE!!

Okay, time to rub it in...Michigan State came out with the win to Notre Dame this past weekend (9/20/08). Mom, Dad, and Alex enjoyed their free time in Kalamazoo...and joined the Browns for the game.

Notice the shirts...Alex is a bit of both teams!

Just give Alex the remote and he would look just like his dad watching football.

Woohoo!! State wins...next year Alex gets to dress in true Sparty colors

Heather's Brown brother's daughter (make sense?), Cassidy and Alex enjoyed playing together after the game. Cassidy is two months younger than Alex. That didn't stop Alex from hitching a ride...

The little tykes decided to take a ride together to get to know each other.

ND kicks U of M's butt!

Although Alex did not make it to the game due to the rain forest like weekend we had, ND pulled out the win over Michigan.

Very exciting, but not as fun as seeing mommy and daddy's friends Trista...

...and Matt Stasiek.

Clean bill of health...

Up to 20 pounds! Alex had another successful doctor's visit on 9/11/08. It was his 1st year well exam at his new doctor in South Bend.

Not only has he caught up in the weight category, but he has grown to 29 inches. He is a growing machine. He has also been working on new teeth. He got his first tooth a couple days after he turned one. He has another one coming in on the top.

While Alex played with the toys, the doc checked him out, thankfully he is doing well!

Go ND!

Notre Dame's smallest tailgater!
Alex was out supporting the home team for their first game on September 6, 2008.

We won!!

Thanks for making the trek...

As mentioned before, lots of family and friends joined in the festivities for Alex's bday:

The Reiters
(Not only did Alex turn one...but on September 2, so did his bud Jackson Reiter)

The Nagels
(Another tot the same age as Alex...Genevieve Nagel with her mom Beth and dad Joel)

The Rupps

The Browns

The Websters

Safari Party!

We celebrated Alex's birthday (yes, once again) Safari style on August 31, 2008 with lots of family and friends.

Alex enjoys his zebra with Cousin Tabby.

Mom and Dad were very grateful that so many people helped celebrate Alex's special birthday.

Alex enjoyed another piece of cake...but was more gentle this time!

He also enjoyed his dip in the pool with his buddies JD Rupp, Nathan White, and Dominick Brown.

Not only did Alex enjoy seeing everyone, but he enjoyed opening his presents with mom's help.

One year old!!

What a difference a year makes!!! Our babe is making strides literally by the day. Not only is Alex walking on his own, but he is waving, pointing, and eating like a champ! We are so proud of his progress and can't wait to see what is next!

Look who is almost as tall as his bear (and thank goodness not as wide)...

Good boy standing all by himself by his growth chart.
