RAISE THE ROOF for Mother's Day!

Mom got a wonderful surprise from Alex on Mother's Day. Alex made his first project at Daycare of his hand prints especially for mom for Mother's Day. What a sweetie!

Hi ho Cheerio!

What fun it was watching Alex play...and sort of eat Cheerios for the first time on May 9th!

"What in the world are these?"

"What in the wide world are these?"

"Icky!"

"No thank you"

I think Sophee enjoyed the Cheerios more than Alex....and of course ate more too!

Up, up, and away!

There's no stopping Alex now. Mom got a photo of Alex's first surprise pull up in his crib on 4/21/08. That was only the beginning of this mobile man's accomplishments.

Forget the knees, Alex prefers doing push ups.

Don't let that innocent grin fool you, he is on a mission...

...and he found his destination across the room!

Mom and Dad see trouble in the near future!

Congrats all around!

Congrats to friends Ben and Kim Scott who welcomed their son Henry Hubert Scott on April 4, 2008! See their little tyke on Casa de scott!

That's not all the good news! There are wedding bells in the future for friends Liz Seurynck and her boyfriend Jim who have recently become engaged! Congrats to another awesome duo!

Hey everyone!

"Mommy wanted me to tell you that I am still doing good...even though she is behind on the blog. I was sick with ear infections for 6 weeks but now I'm doing great and growing up fast. Mommy will share more photos soon as I'm into everything but barely stay still for a picture to be taken of me. I am still liking daycare but I hate when mommy leaves me. In fact, I don't want her to put me down too much anymore. Now that I'm 8 months old, I have turned into a mama's boy (and she loves it). My hair is growing fast but I'm still a peanut like my daddy was at my age. I am still swimming in my 6 months clothes that I have been wearing since December. I don't have teeth yet but whatever you give me I will chew on. My favorite foods are baby mangos and sweet potatoes. I love baths, Sophee, and my little blankee lamb that I sleep with every night. I am almost crawling...give me another week...and then I will be walking. I like to surprise my parents by pulling myself up on my own, onto anything in front of me. Soon I hope to use Sophee as my horse. Oh yeah, and I say DADA all the time since mama gets to hold me more. Daddy taught me how to wave hi and byebye and also how to high five just not too high. My smile is addicting and I'm spoiled by my grandparents and aunts! Baths are fun but Sophee won't join me. Guess that's all for now, thanks for checking up on me!"

Welcome Ella Grace Rupp!

On May 2, 2008, little cutie Ella Grace was born to friends Jen and Rick Rupp!

Andy, Alex and I met Ella when she was 3 days old...she already knows how to say hello!

Mama Jen is doing great and looking fabulous!...and not to mention...

...Daddy Rick! Watch out Daddy...she's a cutie!

While we googled over the baby girl, the boys hammed it up together. Big brother JD is a little over 2 years old and already loving his little sis.

Run Daddy Run!

Alex officially has his first race under his belt thanks to Daddy!

While mom worked the refreshment tent, Daddy pushed Alex through his first Borgess Run 5K.

Alex was passing people left and right...even through the finish line. Alex was the first stroller to finish!
