First Mohawk!

Alex's impersonation of Mr. T (minus the gold chain).

Alex still loves bathtime...

...and his duckies.

Sun shiny Day

Such beautiful weather...finally in Michigan, and Alex can't wait to get outside.

Where's the beach?

Alex practices crawling again, he is hoping to learn soon so he can explore the backyard this summer.

Speaking of nice weather, this big boy went for his first spring stroll around the neighborhood in his big boy stroller.

Happy 3-0 Chris Weaver!

Alex attended his first sshhh....surprise party for mom and dad's friend Chris Weaver.

Before the shindig, Alex and Jackson Reiter played a few games.

Jovial Jackson goes in for the grab, however Agile Alex dodges the swing keeping his pacifer.

Now Drew Reiter joins in the action, hope he doesn't get a headache from Alex's tight grib...on his hair! Looks like Alex dropped his pacifer and it's in Jackson's court, I mean lap.

Enough of the games, time to party at Chris's big 3-0 party! Alex charmed the ladies as usual. Here he is with Chris and her sis Stephanie.

The GOCC girls meet again: Chris, Kay Cook, myself, and Angie Rieter.

Who needs toys...

...when you have a balloon? Like his friend Jackson Reiter, Alex is very fond of bright round shiny balloons (Thanks Bridge!). As seen below Alex got his fair share of my birthday balloon...with supervision of course. Alex is already excited for daddy's birthday in May...he's hoping daddy will get a balloon too!

Friendly Frost Visit!

Congrats to Bridgett's brother and sister in law who welcomed baby Alexis on April 6th in Kzoo! I have to admit April is a GREAT month!!

While in town, lucky Alex got a few squeezes from the new Auntie Bridge...

...and Uncle Tim.

See the Frosts Blog for adorable photos of baby Alexis!

Where are you going Alex?

"To the island with cousins Charlie and Jack!"

Alex's first boat ride...see Kennedy Times to see Charlie's boat!

Hands on...everything!

Baby Applesauce, baby carrots, and baby cheese???

"I'll give you a treat Sophee, if you roll over."

Watch out for Alex in the 2024 Olympics, he's practicing the rings already!

"Wow, what a big ear!"

Rehydrating after a speedy walker workout.

McAlex

Big Mac anyone?

A big thank you to cousin Charlie Kennedy for sharing his grill with Chef Alex!

Not Chi-towning 30!

While Alex played at home with Grandma Arklie and Aunt Aimee, mom and dad hit the big city of Chicago. Once again, Bridgett and Tim Frost were gracious hosts and helped make mom's big 30th birthday very special!

While the girls went shopping on Michigan Ave, the boys enjoyed a beautiful day at Wrigley Field. Old time Sturgis friend of mom and dad, Joe Cary and his girlfriend Mijka met up with Andy and Tim to witness the Cub victory.

Then on to a birthday dinner with Bridge and Tim...

...and more longtimes friends Mel and Stephen Gutgsell...

...and of course the old broad herself and very sweet husband for planning a wonderful weekend in the windy city!

7 MONTHS and growing!

Alex turned 7 months old on 3/28/08 and he is getting big and strong. Not only does he like to talk and make lots of noises but he also has been busy...

...standing on his own!

...sitting up in his bouncer!

...reading the newspaper!

...exercising all over his gym!

...and developing a little temper!

Our little chatterbox...

Alex likes his new highchair... and he will occasionally eat in it too...

Watch and Learn...

Alert and content as always...Alex loves observing his surroundings...

Front row seats to his very own Einstein movie.

"Sit Sophee sit!"

Hasn't your mom ever told you it's not good for your eyes to sit so close to the tv!

"I want that one mom, and that one too, and that one..."

"Who's in the final four dad?...oh...but those aren't the teams you choose in your final four though??"
